Magdalena Aguilar
Vasquez
November 30, 1956 – November 30, 2024
In Loving Memory of Magdalena Aguilar Vasquez
Magdalena Aguilar Vasquez, beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, passed away leaving behind a legacy of compassion, warmth, and unwavering love.
She is lovingly survived by her children: daughters Ericka, Yessenia, Elisa, Rosa, and her son Lasaro. Magdalena also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Matthew F., Alliyah F., Erick V., Nathalie G., Dylan V., Amayah V., Emily G., and Alan V., all of whom she loved unconditionally and with immense pride.
For over 25 years, Magdalena devoted herself to caring for the elderly as a Certified Nursing Assistant at South Pasadena Convalescent. Her work reflected the deep empathy and kindness she extended to everyone around her—whether it was tending to ill relatives or welcoming someone into her home with open arms.
Magdalena found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching her favorite telenovelas and sharing laughs over TikToks. Her favorite meals were chilaquiles and chicharrones, which she enjoyed with the same spirit of comfort and family that defined her presence.
Her generous heart, gentle soul, and loving nature touched all who knew her. Magdalena will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the lives of those she nurtured and loved.
