Jose Luis Rodriguez

Jose Luis Rodriguez, also known by family and friends as “Wicho”, 63, a long lifelong resident
of El Monte, CA, unexpectedly passed away on June 27, 2025. Wicho was born in Tepatitlan,
Mexico to Heliodoro and Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez. He enjoyed backyard barbeques,
gardening and spending time with family. He loved cooking and making hot sauces for his
family and friends. He worked as a gardener for over 35 years, and he loved his job. He was
committed to doing an excellent job for his customers. Wicho was known as a very good person,
and he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed his help.
He is survived by his wife, Maria “Tona” Rodriguez, of 38 years, his son Jose Luis Rodriguez Jr.,
his daughter Susana Rodriguez and his grandson Landon Aldaz.
